Game developer Capcom has teased fans about its upcoming video game: the Mega Man 11.  Fans of the popular video game expressed their excitement because of Capcom’s big announcement.

In a live stream earlier this week, Capcom said the brand-new Mega Man 11 would be released on several console platforms. Mega Man 11 will be playable in PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Fans can expect the game in 2018. The Mega Man 11 is directed by Koji Oda with Kazuhiro Tsuchiya as the game producer.

Gamers were able to look some gameplay of the Mega Man after Capcom has released the game’s trailer.

Moreover, Capcom has also teased fans with the game’s retro collections. The publisher will release Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2.

Game analysts claim that both retro collections made their way to Xbox One and PS4 consoles. Capcom, however, said that both would also be rolled out in Switch by 2018.

Aside from the Mega Man 11’s retro collections,  the eight games in the game’s spinoff series will be rolled out to Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One as well.  To date, Capcom did not release any additional details.  Fans are not sure if the eight games will be released individually or in the bundle.

What’s new with Mega Man 11?

Taking its cue from Mega Man X,  the new game is expected to be released on a 2D side-scrolling platform. In contrast to its predecessor, the Mega Man 11 features a unique and varied art style.

Game developers said that Mega Man’s appearance looks different and will have a new weapon.
