Samsung’s smartphone/tablet hybrid Galaxy Note is moving out of AT&T exclusivity and is partnering with T-Mobile.
Rumors have been circulating that Samsung is going to move the Galaxy Note out of the AT&T confines and move it to T-Mobile.
Samsung officially stopped the rumors by issuing an official press release that says that the Galaxy Note will have a new carrier, T-Mobile. The Galaxy Note will use the telecom’s HSPA+ network rather than AT&T’s 4G LTE.
The Samsung Galaxy Note runs on 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor. It has a 5.3 inch HD AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 800 x 1280 and a 2 MP front facing camera and an 8 MP rear facing camera. It can capture full HD video at 1080p.
Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Note will run on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and not Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The device will come with apps like S Note, S Memo and Polaris Office that you can use with a stylus.
The exact date for the release of the Galaxy Note is yet to be released. But Samsung and T-Mobile has assured American customers that it will be released in the coming weeks.
