Dell is set to unveil their latest Windows 8 tablet that features a 10.8 inch screen that breaks the mold of 10.1 inches.

According to a report by Neowin, this new tablet, dubbed as the Dell latitude 10, features PC-like specifications and has a 128GB solid-state memory which is targeted at corporate customers.

CNET also reports that the report by Neowin seems to hit the bull’s-eye, as they confirmed this report to a familiar source with knowledge of the impending release. They added that Dell is also set to unveil a Windows 8 hybrid laptop-tablet.

According to Neowin’s report, the Dell Windows 8 Latitude Tablet features a full Windows 8 platform running on Intel. It has a dual-core “Clover Trail” Atom processor and has a 2GB memory. It has two cameras that is 2.0MP upfront and an 8.0MP rear camera. It only weighs 1.57 pounds and is 0.4 inches thick.

Another feature that sets the Dell Latitude tablet apart from other tablets is its removable battery. According to Neowin, “We are hearing that the smaller battery will get 6-8 hours of battery life and the larger battery will get 10-12 hours.”

Michael Dell of Dell said in his company’s earnings conference call: “We’re totally lined up with Windows 8. You’ll see us introduce tablets.”

He added: “But what I can tell you is that we think that the touch-screen products will certainly cost more. They’re more in the price points and price bands that we tend to operate in.”
