A spray on antenna? You’re kidding me right?

Sounds like a cheap product that you’d normally see on the television being promoted by “experts” that give you an advantage over those who don’t use it. This may sound like a product that comes from an infomercial due to its claims like, spraying your way to a better signal, improving your range, save on battery and transmitting over great distances under water.

Chamtech’s spray-on antenna actually does that. It’s a real product that can be sprayed on almost all surfaces. It works on a mysterious nanotech way.

Company co-founder Anthony Sutera imagines a place where wireless antenna towers are long gone and are replaced by nano-paint on walls. Issues with bad signal can now be removed from our day to day problems.

According to Sutera, “We have come up with a material that when you spray it on, it lays out just in the right pattern and all of these little capacitors charge and discharge extremely quickly in real time and they don’t create any heat.”

One of their tests transformed an RFID chip that has a 5 foot range to an RFID chip that has a 700 foot range. According to reports, the United States Government is toying with the idea of this new technology.

If Chamtech can back up their claims then the idea of a bad signal would be a thing of the past.
