Korean tech firm Samsung and analysts have placed the Samsung Galaxy S III on the pedestal even before it was released. True enough, once people got the chance to own one, the expectations were met thus, making the Galaxy S III one of the most sought after smartphones this year, if not all time.
Though Samsung has developed a device that is considered as one of the best in the business, the company still hasn’t stopped, even after all the success.
Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Chat device which is a QWERTY candybar handset that is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Galaxy Chat is primarily focused on social networking with the availability of the cross-platform ChatON messaging app.
The ChatON messaging app basically works like the BlackBerry Messenger.
The Galaxy Chat has a 3.0 inch QVGA screen and will be affordably priced. It also features a 4GN onboard storage, which is expandable to 36GB, using a microSD with a Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11n WiFi. It also has a 2 megapixel rear facing camera.
It will be initially released in Europe sometime this month with Spain initially getting to see the device first hand.
It is unclear whether Samsung will bring the Galaxy Chat to US shores. But it will be very much welcome if they do so.
Do you think Samsung needs to bring the Galaxy Chat to the US?
